Tomorrow is National Take a Hike Day, also known as National Hiking Day so why not go out and hike? Walking (hiking) is great exercise. It helps get your blood moving and it’s great to keep your muscles strong. It’s the perfect exercise for so many people. Not a lot of people like to run so hiking is great – there’s not as much wear and tear on your joints. The best part is you can start off slow. Walk in your neighborhood or at your nearest park where there are sidewalks and few hills.

Graduate to some nearby parks that have some trails where you can see more of nature. A good option is some of the National Parks. You can go to the National Park website at www.nps.gov and put your state in to find one near you.

Plus, exercise can help your mood and your skin. So go out there tomorrow and take a hike.
