The FDA doesn’t regulate safety testing of skin care products. Safe skin care can be confusing but if you know where to look, you can stay safe.

The Food and Drug Administration, also known as the FDA monitors our food. Did you know they (the FDA) don’t regulate the skin care products you use on your skin? You may not have realized all the chemicals living in skin care products.

Safe Skin Care
The only reason I started Nutt So Ruff was because of all the problems I had with my skin. A part of it was not knowing what to use for my skin but the other (huge) part of it was that the products I was using at the time, was irritating my skin. That irritation made it so much worse. It was like a cascading effect. One irritation led to another, which led to acne, redness and sensitivity. It also included an overproduction of oil that made things worse.
Since then, Nutt So Ruff has been committed to safe skin care. We use a glycerin soap base that is organic, along with almonds and oats. No chemicals are added and that’s why it’s safe skincare.
