Our Committed Goal

Since Nutt So Ruff opened years ago, our goal has always been skin care at an affordable price.  I learned very early on that you don’t need to spend a lot of money on general skin care.  Take care of your skin and have a skin care regimen that is consistent, while working for your skin type, and you’ll have uncovered your beautiful skin.

What I learned

When I was a teenager, I was like so many teenagers – I had acne.  It was just bad enough to hurt my self-esteem.  My parents couldn’t afford to buy me all the different ‘remedies’ on the market, so I just had to deal with the acne and the low self-esteem.  As I grew older, into my 20’s, my acne still continued and I went on a quest to understand ‘skin’.  That’s why I started to exfoliate.

People started to notice my transformation and I started to gain confidence.  My friends started to ask me to make them my exfoliator bar and I was happy to do it.  But, I also wanted to make sure people understood how to cleanse their skin and that they should exfoliate regularly.  What I found was that people didn’t know how often to exfoliate and that people didn’t know what skin type they actually had.

It’s with that that I committed Nutt So Ruff to be that voice and channel to help people learn about skin care.   I vow to continue with my truth and commitment pledge into 2022 and beyond.  This is because I want YOU to uncover your beautiful skin at an affordable cost.  The truth is that you don’t need to spend a lot of money on skin care IF you know how to care for your skin.
