Whats Up with Clogged Pores?
So, if you are suffering from clogged pores, you have to make sure you are doing 2 things consistently – but not too frequently. They are:
- Cleansing your skin
- Exfoliating your skin
Here’s the thing…If you don’t cleanse your skin properly and regularly, your pores can get clogged. Therefore, it is essential to cleanse regularly. It’s one of the most important steps in skin care. Cleansing your skin both in the morning and at the end of the day is imperative. Wash the sweat from your face after a good night’s sleep and wash the dirt, oil, and makeup before you go to bed. Keeping your skin clean is a very effective way from helping to keep acne away.
Next, exfoliate! You must exfoliate regularly if you want to keep those pores clear. Exfoliating helps to remove those dead skin cells that are notorious for clogging pores. The reason a lot of people skip this step is because they feel like it either doesn’t matter (i.e. they don’t need to do it) or they think that it can exacerbate acne.
Exfoliating is so helpful to skin. It can help prevent acne. And, it doesn’t exacerbate acne if you’re doing it properly. If you exfoliate too hard, it could cause you problems. Be gentle. To learn how to exfoliate skin, click here.
