Benefits of almonds
You know nuts are good for you and that’s why we use it in every one of our Nutt So Ruff Scrub bars! Almonds are especially healthy. Bet you didn’t know about these benefits of almonds!
Benefits of almonds
There are loads of reasons why almonds are great for you but some of the biggest reasons are the amount of nutrients they contain. There are a lot of antioxidants and vitamin E – all packed into one smally little nut! But did you know that they also contain magnesium? If you suffer from migraine headaches, magnesium is one of those things that can help…and, if you don’t suffer from migraines, it’s probably because you’re getting a lot of magnesium!!! Almonds rock!
Benefits of almonds for Women
On top of all that, almonds are great for women because of the folate they contain and it’s a good source of iron. They’re also good for your gut. If you’ve been dealing with leaky gut, almonds may be one of your answers. In addition, they help make us feel satiated so we don’t feel as hungry all the time. Managing our blood sugar to keep from highs and lows is very important to feeling our best.

Skin benefits
Finally, our skin – my favorite topic. With all the vitamin E in almonds, it really helps our skin look its best. You can even use almond oil to help with your skin and even your nails. The vitamin E helps to repair our skin cells so those dull areas start looking more vibrant again.

Get rid of those wrinkles and fine lines by just dabbing on some of this nut oil. If you’re out of your regular eye or face serum, grab some almond oil and use that instead. It’s a great ingredient to keep in your skin care arsenal.

Because of the antioxidants that help get rid of free radicals, this is a must to put in your diet as well. I not only eat almonds regularly, but I use it in my Nutt So Ruff scrub bars – it’s one of the main ingredients!!!
Lip scrub
Since almonds can be used topically, you can make your own lip scrub. All you need is a little bit of almond oil, some almond meal and honey. In a ratio of about 1:2:2, mix the ingredients until you have your desired consistency. Rub over your lips and watch the vitamin E for the almond do its thing. Never scrub too hard. Rinse and pucker and see how young you’ll look again – without having to spend a ton of money on skin care products!
