Clean and Clear Face Wash or Trader Joe’s Face Wash

There are many face washes on the market and it can be hard to choose which face wash to buy.  Instead of buying ones like the Clean and Clear Face Wash or Trader Joe’s Face Wash, try making one yourself.

Don’t have time or the money to figure out which face wash to buy?  Or, are you frustrated with trying different ones that just don’t seem to work that well for you.  I’m not knocking any face wash but if you can make your own, especially if you’re in a pinch, try this one.

This skin cleanser contains almond milk and cucumber.  Almonds (my favorite) have anti-inflammatory properties and can help calm skin.  Cucumbers are so cooling.  This face wash is perfect for normal or dry skin.  Try this home cleanser on your next “ME” day!!

Ingredients for Face Wash

1/3 cup almond milk

3 Tbsp cucumber, pureed

1 tsp salt

Mix all 3 ingredients together in a bowl.  Using a clean wash cloth, wash your face in the morning and at night.  Use warm water to rinse off.  It’s that simple!  Rather than spending money on expensive face washes that may or may not work for your skin type, it’s much better to make your own.

So, even if you regularly buy store brand face wash (such as target face wash or equate face wash) or brand name face washes, like Clean and Clear Face wash or Trader Joe’s Face wash that we started talking about, try this “do it yourself” version instead.  It’s an everyone face wash, especially if you have dry or even normal skin. It can help calm skin using ingredients you have on hand.
