Getting rid of pimple
If you’re dealing with pimples as an adult, getting rid of pimples is one of your top priorities. Here’s a helpful guide to help you.
Getting rid of pimples
First things first, in order to help get rid of acne, your skin must be clean. But, you don’t want to dry it out. Drying out your skin can cause more acne breakouts because it could cause your skin to produce more oil, which can cause more acne. In addition, the dead skin cells can get clogged in your pores. The more oil and the more dead skin cells you have can cause more acne!

Consistent steps
So, that is why I say you must make sure your skin is clean – that’s the first step. Next, spot treatments are great but I suggest you use a low concentration. I like benzoyl peroxide in a 2.5% or 5% concentration. They have 10% formulas but it’s not usually necessary. Another option is salicylic acid but with this acne fighting ingredient, you need to use it on a consistent basis. Either way, you should cleanse your face twice a day (once when you wake up and then again before bed), then apply the topical spot treatment.

The next thing that I always suggest is to exfoliate regularly. It all depends on your skin type. You should exfoliate according to these guidelines:
- Dry or sensitive skin – 1 time per week
- Oily or combination skin – 3-5 times per week
- Normal skin – everyday is OK
Exfoliating is so helpful because it removes dead skin cells that clog pores. Doing it on a regular basis, according to your skin type (whether 1 day a week or 3 times a week) can really make a difference.

Other types of acne
There are different types of acne, though. Some that are close to the surface and others that are much deeper. For the acne that is deep under the surface, patience is key. Don’t try to squeeze out the pimple because you will just damage your skin, which can lead to more acne or even worse, acne scars.
If the pimple becomes swollen, that’s a sign of inflammation. It’s a good time to apply an ice pack for a few minutes to allow the swelling to go down.

Follow these guidelines for getting rid of pimples and you should see a big improvement in your skin.
Fighting acne doesn’t have to cost a lot of money if you know how to treat it. These are some very simple steps to heal your skin and stop it from coming back.
