National Nut Day is Sunday, October 22 and Nutt So Ruff is celebrating because it’s not only a great snack but it’s also great for your skin.

Yes, Sunday October 22 is National Nut Day and there are so many ways to enjoy nuts on this awesome day. Here are some of my favorites:
- Eat them raw
- Make granola and top your yogurt with it
- Add them to your oatmeal or even your salads
- Make some homemade trail mix, which is super easy.
- Use your Nutt So Ruff scrub bar(s), which contain crushed and powdered nuts!

Nuts have so many health benefits, which is why National Nut Day is so great. Here are the biggest health benefits by eating / using nuts:
- Fiber – we definitely do not get enough fiber in our diets.
- Protein – this helps your blood sugar so that you don’t dip too much. Keep your blood sugar steady and feel better throughout the day.
- Iron – for those of us that could use some, especially during ‘that’ time of the month.

I actually have 2 favorite nuts and since it is National Nut Day, I’m going to enjoy both today. They are:
