5 Benefits of Goji Berries for Women

There are 5 benefits of goji berries for women.  These are the reasons you should incorporate goji berries in your diet for your overall well-being, especially for women over 40.

What is a goji berry?

Obviously, it’s a berry of some sort, right?  This tiny little fruit is from Asia and they grow as bushes.  In fact, they’re quite prolific.  They’re bright red, oblong shaped fruit is so nutritious and that’s why I think there are at least 5 benefits of goji berries for women.

What are the 5 benefits of goji berries for women?

For starters, you’ll feel better eating them.  Not only will you feel calmer but you’ll feel better overall.  Who doesn’t need some tranquility in their lives, especially internally?  If you have ever felt the anxiety or panic in a normal day but you don’t really know why, try eating some dried goji berries as part of your regular balanced diet and see if it doesn’t make a difference.  Or, if you battle with depression, you might consider adding goji berries to your diet.

Next on our list of 5 benefits of goji berries for women is weight loss.  Goji berries can give you energy and the more energy you have, the more you will do – i.e. be active.  When you’re active, you maintain healthy weight and possibly lose weight.  In addition, they are packed with fiber, which is great for weight control.  Everyone can use a little more fiber in their diets.

Be careful here, though.  As with any dried fruit, these have a lot of sugar so you don’t want to eat a whole bag of dried goji berries in a day.

Goji berries have beta-carotene, which is awesome for your skin!  And, it can help with premature aging.  If you’re over 40, you know how important this is because who wants wrinkles?
