Times are stressful and no matter what is stressing you out, the effect on our bodies from the stress starts to show. The last thing we need is to deal with acne so we’ll talk about what is on our minds: the Fast way to get rid of pimple problems!
Diet and pimples
I talk a lot about the effect our diets have on our skin. It is very easy to grab a bag of potato chips instead of healthy snack, such as nuts, when we’re stressed out. I know when I get anxious, I go for the tortilla chips. What can I say, I love tortilla chips – with or without salsa or guacamole. I’d like to eat the whole bag. So, I get it – it’s hard and even I have to be mindful of what I’m doing. You’re not alone.

For example, last week, I was worried about something that was bothering me at work. I noticed myself going into the pantry to grab the tortilla chips. Luckily, I didn’t overindulge but I noticed the “habit” and was able to stop myself. Even so, I woke up with a pimple on my face. It was from the stress and anxiety that I was dealing with from the work issue. My point here is: you are normal! It’s normal to just want to “veg” out just like it’s normal to be stressed or anxious about things coming up.

We can’t get rid of stressors – that’s life – they will always be there. But, you can learn to deal with them. You can learn to be mindful and it really will be the fast way to get rid of pimple problems.
Mindfulness…
So, what is mindfulness? I’m sure you’ve heard the term before. If you’re anything like I was, you may “kinda sorta” know what it means but you don’t know how to implement it in your life. Mindfulness is an idea where you feel fully present. It’s where we are “in the moment” and where we aren’t thinking about the next thing we have to do or a problem we’re trying to solve.

For example, let’s say you are on a bike ride with your family on a nice Sunday afternoon. And, let’s say you have something on your mind – such as going back to school. If, during your bike ride, you are thinking about the upcoming school year, that’s not being mindful. But, if you are enjoying the beautiful weather, enjoying your family and not worrying about anything else, you are being mindful. This is something I strive to do all the time. I know it’s not easy – it’s not easy for me. I’ve found it has gotten easier with time.
