You may be experiencing this now, you remember how it was, or your teenage son / daughter is experiencing this now. It’s not fun and if you have to deal with both sides of it at the same time, it’s doubly frustrating – definitely hard to deal with.

Women, hormones and acne
Hormones seem to be more problematic for women. The hormones have an effect on our skin and that can cause acne to form. You may feel more oily or sometimes more dry. Unfortunately, it is harder for women. Men may see acne when they are in puberty but once they move past that time in their lives, it seems the acne leaves too. Not so for women. Puberty is just the beginning for us.
