Happy National Women’s Health and Fitness Day!  Yep, it’s today and it’s time to be healthy and fit so we can all live a long, healthy, and happy life!

No matter our age, we all want to be healthy.  In fact, I know we all strive for it but it can be hard to achieve.  With demanding jobs and demanding lives, it can be hard to eat healthy or live any semblance of a healthy lifestyle.  In fact, studies show that our forties may be our most unhappiest time.  That can be disheartening but there is a way to stay balanced and happy.

We’re here to support you!  Being a healthy woman is all about balance.  The good news is that it is achievable!

Happy National Women’s Health and Fitness Day

It may seem overwhelming but it is achievable.  The important thing to remember is that everything should be in moderation.  When we’re going full steam ahead, we don’t have time to think about anything else – let alone our own health or fitness.   When we have family to think about and care for and when we have demanding careers, it’s hard to stop.  Keeping that balance is important.

Why should we take care of ourselves?

Our well-being hinges on everything working at an optimal level.  With life being so stressful, it’s hard to maintain.  Stress in everyday life and toxins in the environment can make things worse.  It can lead to inflammation and leaky gut.  Leaky gut is real and can cause our hormones to be out of balance.   If you are in your 30’s or 40’s and suffer from any of these symptoms, you may have leaky gut:

Staying centered

It’s all about moderation, balance, and staying centered.  Keep your eye on the goal but remember that you need to take care of yourself.  Without the self-care, you can end up with leaky gut and all the problems that go with it.  Stay healthy by practicing yoga, doing meditation, and eating healthy and you’ll be well on your way to leading a healthy and fit life!
