BPA Endocrine disruptor
BPA endocrine disruptor is a huge concern. Plastic is so bad for us. In fact, plastics are all around us. Start removing plastics from your life to live healthier.
Plastic BPA Endocrine Disruptor
It’s hard to get away from plastics. Plastics are cheaper to produce and the biggest reason why basically much of what we consume or touch contains some form of plastic. There are plastics in supplements and medications, food packaging, and even home drainage systems. Just go to the grocery store and notice all the items that are packed in plastic. Bottled drinks, plastic grocery bags, and even straws – it’s all plastic! These are all BPA Endocrine Disruptors!

What is plastic
You may be wondering what is so bad about plastic. It’s a fair question. Plastic is composed of numerous chemicals that are harmful to our bodies. It’s cheap to produce and it seemed like a good option for companies to start using. In some applications, they are helpful but the fact that it’s used in everything is what is problematic, especially the cheap stuff that is meant to be thrown away. Everything we touch has plastic, such as:

- the remote control
- our cell phone / cases
- Clothes – do you realize how much plastic is in clothing?
- the hair product you use is in plastic – you have to touch it to squeeze it out.
- there’s probably some form of plastic in that hair product.
These are just some examples given to show you that plastic is in so much and to start getting you to think about it. We absorb so much through our skin that every little bit just adds to the accumulation of these toxins.

Why plastic is so bad
The fact that there is so much plastic is the problem. Since we consume it, inhale it, and absorb it, we are getting quite a heavy dose of these chemicals in our bodies. The problem is that it accumulates in our cells and become hormone disruptors. That’s what I mean about BPA endocrine disruptor. Hormone = endocrine and they ‘disrupt’ our bodies by mimicking our natural hormones. When our bodies think it has too much of a hormone (or pseudo hormone because it can’t tell the difference), we become sick. It’s gradual but then all of a sudden, we’re sick.

These toxins accumulate in our cells – our organs and tissues. So, if you are wearing a piece of clothing that has plastic in it, then go out in the sun (i.e. heat, which helps to leach more of the plastic) – that’s a huge problem. Do you have plastic (i.e. vinyl) floors in your home? And, do you walk barefoot on those floors? You’re absorbing plastic! That’s why it’s so bad – it’s everywhere!
Health problems
With all these accumulated toxins in our bodies from plastic, we become sick in various ways. It could be a rash but it can also manifest in our skin and cause acne. Are you having other hormonal issues like heavy periods or what about fibroids? Things like this may have caught up to you by the time you’re in your 40’s. Maybe you’re depressed – you may attribute it to something else but the BPA endocrine disruptor that is in your body may have contributed to your depression. The bottom line is that you are not at your optimal level.
If you’re constantly getting headaches or migraines, your ob / gyn may have told they were menstrual migraines. OK, sure but again, you may be having hormonal issues like the heavy periods / fibroids due to the hormone disruptors in skin care. All of this accumulates in our liver and we need to detox our liver.
