So, where can we get selenium from?  Luckily, our bodies can get it from the foods we eat.  The quality of the soil the food is grown in does have an effect on how much selenium is in the food.  This is why eating organic may be better.  You can find selenium in fish, nuts, beef, and poultry like chicken or turkey.  But, my absolute top pick is:

Brazil Nuts

Brazil nut are the absolute best source of selenium – you only need 1 or 2 nuts per day to get the recommended amount.  In fact, you don’t need to eat more than this because you can overload on the selenium – moderation is key in everything, isn’t it?
