The 3 Best Vitamins for Skin
You may take a multivitamin everyday (or most days) plus a couple other supplements your doctor may have suggested. For me, I take a multivitamin and fish oil every day. On occasion, I also take some calcium supplements if I know I haven’t been getting enough calcium in my diet. This is especially true when I am on vacation and don’t have access to my organic milk. But, vitamins for skin? Yes! The 3 best vitamins for skin are explained in more detail below. They are:
- Vitamin A
- Ester C / Vitamin C / Ascorbic Acid
- Vitamin E
Now, let’s take a deeper dive into each one of these!

Vitamin A
Vitamin A is great for acne prone skin. Plus, if you have food allergies, you may want to consider adding some Vitamin A rich products to your regimen to help with your acne symptoms. Aside from doing an elimination diet with any food allergies you may be experiencing, adding Vitamin A can help your skin in other ways. If you are starting to see wrinkles or have issues with hyperpigmentation, Vitamin A may be able to help your skin look better.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C (which can also be known as Ester C or Ascorbic Acid) is also an antioxidant. We all know antioxidants are good for us because they help with our collagen. As we get older – yes, I’m talking to all of you over 30 / over 40 – we need help with collagen because it starts to break down. And, vitamin C can help with moisture too.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is one of my favorites because almonds contain lots of vitamin E. Vitamin E is also an antioxidant so like all the others, it helps with moisture and hyperpigmentation. It’s great to have in your diet and to put on your skin.

When your body functions properly, your skin can look utterly amazing! Results can take some time but know your ingredients.
