Pimple under your skin
Ever get a pimple under your skin? They can be painful and red. What should you do with these and what kind of pimple is this?
What is a pimple under your skin
A pimple under your skin is called a pustule. You may not have known what it was officially called and maybe you never have heard that term before, but you know you have a pimple of some sort. That would be the pustule and it hurts. Plus, it gets red and forms a bump noticeable enough to make you self-conscious. You just know something is there and you also know (feel) like other people see it.

Here’s the thing – yes, it’s a form of a pimple. What happened is that the pimple got irritated. It could have been a whitehead or even a blackhead. It doesn’t matter what it started out with because either way, it got irritated and for that reason, it got bigger.
4 types of acne lesions
There are actually four different types of acne lesions and I won’t go into all of them here because we are mainly focused on pimples under your skin today. But, you can read more about them here: 4 types of acne lesions.

Pustule treatment
So what can you do with this problem now that it has turned into a pustule? A pimple under your skin can be treated very easily. The hard part is actually doing it. Here are the steps:
- Don’t pick!
- That’s it.
So, really there is only one step to pustule treatment. Don’t pick at a pustule under your skin. By not touching it, it will actually heal on its own.
Listen, I know it’s hard not to touch your skin when there’s a blemish but the less you touch it, the better and faster it can heal. This is why I say you don’t have to spend a lot of money on skin care. Take care of your skin, have a proper skincare routine, including exfoliating, and you’ll uncover your beautiful skin in no time.
