Protect your skin
Your skin acts as a protector so let’s protect your skin to keep it looking healthy. The better we treat our skin, the better it will look and protect us.
Skin barrier
Did you know that your skin acts like a barrier. Think about it. Without it, we would be just a blob but our skin holds everything together. On top of it, it keeps out the bad stuff like:

- Toxins – any kind, whether from smoking cigarettes (or any smoking) or even wild fire smoke.
- Dangerous sun rays
- Pollution
- Bacteria
Protect your skin
We need to protect your skin; otherwise, it can start looking and feeling older. The bad thing is that this will happen each time you damage your skin. Here are a few ways that can happen:
- Over exfoliating – yeah, did you know that if you exfoliate too much, you can damage your skin? Here’s how often you should exfoliate based on your skin type.
- Not getting enough sleep – yes, you read that right. If you are burning the midnight oil all the time, it will start showing on your skin and you’ll start looking older than you actually are.
- Eating badly – we all know we should eat our fruits and vegetables AND drink plenty of water. Believe me, it will help keep skin youthful.
- Lack of hydration – OK, so I mentioned this one in #3, but it’s worth giving it it’s own bullet point. Drink lots of water! At least 8 cups a day. You can even make your own electrolyte water.
Let’s take care of and protect your skin. The older you get, the happier you will be when you don’t look as old as your actual age.
