Toner for acne prone skin
Looking for a toner for acne prone skin that won’t dry you out? Get clear skin by using a toner!
Toners
There are many different types of toners. If you’ve never used one before, this is an easy one to make and most people have green tea already in their cupboard so there’s no need to run out to buy ingredients that are hard to find.

Why toners are beneficial
Toners are great because they are cooling and can help close pores, especially after giving your face a good wash with a mild cleanser and warm water. Warm water opens up your pores which is good so you can get your skin clean. But, we don’t want to keep the pores open because they can look unsightly when they are bigger. So, it’s always a good idea to splash some cold water on our faces after we cleanse – or to use an easy to use and easy to make toner, especially this one for acne prone skin!
Here’s the homemade recipe for a Toner for acne prone skin:
Take brewed, unsweetened green tea and do one of the following:
Put it in a spray bottle with an atomizer and spray on your skin (or)
Keep in a regular bottle and apply with a cotton ball.
Do either of these right after you cleanse your skin. There is no need to rinse.
Why Green Tea?
The reason people like green tea as an acne remedy is because it is said to decrease the amount of oil your skin makes. So, next time you make yourself some green tea, try a little bit of this toner for acne prone skin on your face to see if it has any effect on your acne prone skin.
