Trapped chemical toxins

Trapped chemical toxins are unhealthy.  Any emotional trauma we have can exacerbate toxic build up so it’s important to deal with it.

Trapped chemical toxins

Toxic buildup from plastics, air fresheners, and gasoline all contribute to our ill health.  Other toxins include:

  • Heavy metals
  • Viruses
  • Prescription medication
  • Alcohol
  • Cosmetics
  • Laundry detergents and dryer sheets
  • Bacteria
  • Insecticides / Pesticides
  • Chemical solvents
  • Gasoline
  • Processed foods
  • MSG – if you ever get migraines, look into the foods you are eating.  Even if something is advertised as “No MSG”, it doesn’t mean that an ingredient didn’t already have MSG in it!

But did you know that any emotional trauma can make it worse?

Emotional trauma and the link to trapped chemical toxins

For anyone that has been the victim of abuse of any kind or perhaps a betrayal, you know how heartbreaking it is.  Other forms of trauma may include:

  • Divorce or a breakup
  • Dysfunctional family which causes a lot of stress
  • Constant disappointment
  • Fear, such as if you are in a controlling or abusive relationship
  • Money problems

You feel alone and abandoned.  It’s so hurtful and sometimes it’s really hard to get over something because the hurt was so awful.  It’s hard to trust people because you don’t feel anyone understands what you are going through.   All this trauma can lead to a lower immune system and an increase in chances of illness.

Mental Health Month

Because it is Mental Health Month, I wanted to discuss how this emotional trauma can lead to trapped chemical toxins.  Even if you think that you can deal with something, I want you to know that it’s important for you to do so – not only for your emotional health but for your physical health, too.  If you’re suffering from migraines, skin problems, or something more serious, this can lead to depression and anxiety.  It is very hard to live this way and can lead to chronic disease.

Please get help.  Talk to someone or even start a hobby.  It may sound silly but getting your mind off of things and letting yourself focus on something you enjoy can actually make a world of difference.  It may not be the answer to everything but it will give you the time to think about what is best for YOU.  And, that’s the most important thing – YOU!  You are special and worthy.  Don’t let anyone make you feel like you aren’t.

When I’m feeling especially stressed, I like to sew.  It makes me so happy because I really enjoy making things.  Plus, it’s so new to me that I really have to think about what I’m doing.  This makes me forget about what is bothering me.  The surprising thing is that it helps my subconscious mind figure out what to do on its own.  I don’t even have to worry or think about it.  Give it a try (whatever your hobby is – and if you don’t have one, start one) – you may be pleasantly surprised.  Get rid of those trapped chemical toxins!
