What’s in your Face Cream

We really have to be careful with what we put in our bodies and on it.  Another report showing high levels of mercury in skin products.  What’s in your face cream?

Take a stand!  You have the power.  Take control of your life and your health.  You don’t need to spend a lot of money – it’s knowledge and I’m here to help you sift through it all.

My story

My story isn’t abnormal.  I was a teen that had acne.  But, when I hit my 20’s, I still had acne and I wanted to do something about it.  I always loved to learn (didn’t like school but I did enjoy soaking up information) so I just researched skin care and ingredients.  That’s when I realized that it was the ingredients in the products I was buying / using that were causing me problems.

It wasn’t until much later that I figured out what I was eating could have a profound effect on my health, but that story is for another day.  Today, I’m focused on what we put on our skin that causes our health problems.  Check some common ingredients here.

Hormone problems

I also had hormone issues like unusually heavy bleeding.  It was awful – just terrible.  When you have very heavy periods, sometimes you can’t leave the house.  That’s traumatic.  I started realizing that what I was putting on my body could have a profound effect on my health.

Take control of your life and your health.  You really don’t need to spend a lot of money on skin care.  You just need to know what your body needs and what it needs to stay away from.  Mercury shouldn’t be in our products – these things are toxic.  So, I ask again…What’s in your face cream?
